However, if there is some reason that your organization cannot pay monthly via credit card, please let me know. I occasionally make special arrangements for corporate clients and NPOs that need to pay via wire transfer or direct bank deposit.

That's the wrong question. It's not a matter of whether you need it or not, rather who is going to do it. Website maintenance is similar to doing maintenance on a car. You have to change the oil, or you pay someone else to change it for you.

There are 4 basic costs to owning a website.

1. Domain name registration
2. Hosting
3. Premium themes and plugins
4. Maintenance

The Hosting+Website Care Plan includes everything except your domain name registration. You should always pay for your own domain name. 

Also, depending on your business, your website might need premium plugins besides the ones I regularly include in a site build. My goal is to set up your website so that you won't need anything more. However, we will look at the options together and if you really need something extra functionality, you will be responsible for that license fee. So far, this has only happened twice.

For hosting and web maintenance only? Yes, it would be less expensive for you to sign up directly with Websavers.ca. 

Here's the difference - I am a reseller which means, if you go through me, you will be receiving a bill from me and it will cost a little bit more per/month. It also means that if you have a problem, you get to contact me, and I will advocate for you.

If you sign up directly with Websavers.ca you will be receiving a bill from Websavers.ca. If you have any issues with your website, you will need to contact Websavers.ca directly.

Besides advocating for you, there is another advantage of going through my agency as opposed to Websavers.ca. On my Care Plan you get access to my agency licenses for the theme and plugins installed on your website.

The renewal fees for these annual licenses add up quickly. You can purchase your own licenses, however, my Care Plan usually works out to be less expensive in the long run.

That said, I don't care which way you go. It is truly up to you. 

At the end of each month, you'll receive an email from me. It's usually a short message letting you know that all is well. If something happens that I think you should be aware of, I will let you know. Likewise, if I notice something that needs your attention or could be improved, I will let you know. 

The Hosting+Website Care Plan is a monthly subscription. You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing marci@marcikobayashi.com.

Your subscription will continue until the end of the existing subscription period and will terminate at the completion of that period.

However, you will need to pay for hosting to make sure your website stays online. You will also need to acquire your own licenses for any premium themes or plugins used on your site.
