Open your eyes

I recently channeled this message for one of my friends. The message was strong and very direct. I anticipated finding an equally compelling image to carry it.

As usual, at the end of the session, I asked for an image to go with the message. I could see two dark purplish-pink balls, maybe flowers or maybe eyes. The rest of the image was unidentifiable.

I searched and searched stock photo sites to find those dark pink balls. I found two photos I like, but something wasn’t right. Neither came with that knowing nudge in my chest when I find the perfect image, so I decided to take a break.

In the meantime, I had found an unusual photo to add to my collection of spiders. Spider energy has been partnering with me for several years, and I can’t resist striking images of spider.

I was debating whether to purchase it now and opened it up to take a closer look. My heart did a flip when I saw the purplish-pink balls I had been looking for all along. Here was the perfect, compelling image for my friend’s message.

I was ever so slightly jealous and even possessive because I wanted to keep both spider and the photo for me! Then I remembered that the last time I had been out with my friend I had found a little spider on his collar. At the time I had thought spider was dropping in to visit me. Now I see that spider was visiting us both!

Later, after sharing the full transcript and quote card with my friend, we noticed something else – spiders have more than two eyes! The message speaks of opening his eyes, all of his eyes. I assumed the message was referring to something like a sixth sense, intuition or third eye. It never occurred to me that he might need to consider his fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth eye, too!

Like so many other times, the universe led me in a crazy roundabout way to the perfect photo wrapping up the message like a perfect bow on a gift. I hope you, too, will have the opportunity this week to enjoy the playful antics of the universe.
