Okasan was allowed to leave the hospital for a few days. We started preparing for the move, and I worried whether we had made the right decision.

Though we stayed in regular contact with Akira’s parents, it wasn’t enough. Okasan was back in the hospital and we faced a big decision.

I had turned a corner. My mind was full of how to grow my business and not of how to care for Okasan or Otosan. For a few months anyway…
